Good day ! As a free man I want to show my discontent to address of authorities of Copenhagen in connection with arrest of demonstrators on the 01 March 2007. Denmark is democratic country, where everyone have right to freedom of speech. People, who came out in the streets that Saturday, protested against the unfair decision of court. The decision says, that Ungdomshuset carried over christian church "Faderhus". There were actions of solidarity and support of the youth' center all over the world. Authorities of Copenhagen have compelled people to go on extreme measures : occurrence of police in the streets of town was the reason why demonstrators had thought that the peace protests were useless. Street fights - is a proaccount of authorities, because they couldn't carry on peaceful dialogue with their citizens. They want to give a cultural and a social center to the sect. People were fighting for have rights to be themselves, for the democratic freedom, for the freedom of art, for thats things, what they have been fighting for during 24 years. Fights with police serves as the additional proof of that cultural center is very important for citizens, that's why citizens had joined the demonstrators of Ungdomshuset. I ask authorities of Copenhagen to release arrested persons on freedom. I think that prison term for people, who fights for freedom, isn't a right decision in modern democratic country.

To Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark Good day !

Ungdomshuset in Copenhagen is one of the biggest autonomous social centres in the world. In 1982 house was given to non-authoritarian political activists, so that they could set up a youth corrective organization there. City authorities promised that they will not sell house, but give it for squatters to use. During the following 24 years, with love and care organizers set up their own cultural centre, which is famous and popular in the whole world.

But in 1999 politicians sold the house to a Christian sect Faderhus, who already has requested a permission to demolish the house. Already during 7 years organizers and founders of Ungdomshuset attempt to organize negotiations with police.

28th of August 2006 there was a decision of a district court. It was expected, that it would change the course of events. Politicians should have agreed that Ungdomshuset plays a role too big in cultural life of Copenhagen in order to be closed, but it did not go like that.

As a response to decision of the court, 3000 people were demonstrating their support to Ungomshuset. Countless solidarity actions, papers, and support letters talk about necessity of keeping the house… even a group of priests and a police chief have made comments in favour of keeping Ungomshuset. All this proves how much Ungdomshuset means for the people.

We demand regulation of the conflict ! We demand stopping the election of the Ungdomshuset ! We demand authorities to fulfil their promises ! We demand to keep monument of architecture, and not to allow its demolition ! We demand to give Ungdomshuset to those who really need it, and not to another totalitarian sect !

Copenhague : la sirène peinte en rose

La Petite Sirène, symbole légendaire de Copenhague, a été aspergée de peinture rose par un ou des inconnus. Nous ne savons pas si cet acte de vandalisme est lié l'évacuation de Ungdomshuset (la maison des jeunes à Copenhague). Mais nous enquêtons à ce sujet", explique la police.

Au dernière nouvelles, le site en question a été racheté par un mouvement sectaire chrétien qui compte batir un temple de culte à cet endroit.
On peut supposer que les dirigeants de cette "église" doivent etre influents pour parvenir à convaincre les autorités danoises de la nécéssité de leur "oeuvre"!
Une fois de plus l'obscurantisme religieux s'affirme bel et bien comme l'ennemi à combattre pour toutes les personnes qui sont encore attachées au sens des mots "LIBERTE" et "ANTICONFORMISME"

Au dernière nouvelles, le site en question a été racheté par un mouvement sectaire chrétien qui compte batir un temple de culte à cet endroit.
On peut supposer que les dirigeants de cette "église" doivent etre influents pour parvenir à convaincre les autorités danoises de la nécéssité de leur "oeuvre"!
